Most likely you remember Dallas from the '80s. Whether it was you watching or your parents. All depending on your age, of course. My husband remembers Dallas because his parents would have friends over that also had children and the kids would play while the adults watched the show.

My mother tells the story of going to my grandmothers to watch Dallas in her "tv room" and they would have apple turnovers for dessert. One of the only times you could eat outside of the dining room!

I was very excited when I first heard the show was making a come-back! Dallas carries many memories for a lot of people from years past!

We tuned in last night and I have to say we did enjoy it. My mother-in-law came over to watch with us and I'm pretty sure we'll all be tuning in next week to see what the Ewings are up to next!

What about you? Did you watch? Does Dallas hold any special memories for you? Will you watch again next week?

I am so excited it is back! When I was a kid, when I heard the Dallas theme song, I knew it was time to go to bed- when we went to visit my grandma, though, she would let me stay up and watch it. :)

I watched and loved it! I agree that am not over the moon with the casting of John Ross but I will give him a chance. I cannot wait for next week.

I did watch! I enjoyed it except that I’m just not feeling the actor they chose for John Ross. I think he looks a little to unpolished, not what I expected with his upbringing.

I watched it, and I loved every cheesy moment of it. The original Dallas is special to me, it was our family’s connection to Texas while we were living in DC.
