orange, blue & green wreath 2

The Sip & See for my SIL and nephew was a big hit! We enjoyed an afternoon full of family, close friends and lots of delicious food! As promised, here are a few pictures from the party.

The wreath I made for my front door. It's far too cold outside to stand out and take pictures so I pulled it back inside after the party to snap a few shots.

Close up of my use of different types of ribbons and additional embellishments pieces like the sparkly green sticks (found at Wal-Mart in the 75% off Christmas section)!

I used orange paper lanterns that I had in my party stash along with ribbon in matching colors with a few other green beaded sticks (also found at Wal-Mart in the 75% off Christmas section) added in. Jackpot!

*Tip: Always do some preliminary running around before landing on a color theme. See what's out there. Since this party was originally scheduled for November it wasn't as easy to find orange & blue things in January so I improvised and added green which I knew would be easy peasy to find right now. Plus, lime green & chartreuse are trendy Holiday colors right now.

I found these darling little mason jar candles at one of our local Dollar General stores back in early October. I designed the labels in Illustrator, printed them on 2.5" round labels (found at Online Labels.com) and they were a perfect a fit! *Last name blocked out for privacy reasons.

Dessert tables with to-go boxes in case some of our guests wanted to take their treats home with them. And that they did. Not one box was left at the end of the afternoon. We had a giant spread of homemade Southern mini-meatballs, hot artichoke dip, spinach balls, layered dip, black bean/corn dip, tons of fruit and vegetables and list goes on (I have no idea how I do not a picture of the food. Bad blogger!), therefore most people were too full to eat dessert right away. Boxes and/or bags to take home are always very much appreciated by guests!

Again, I've blocked out the baby's last name for privacy reasons but if you are wondering "why the Ms" that's why. BabyMac's last name starts with a M! I used the same 2.5" round labels for the to-go boxes too. I also used the labels for the drinking cups!

My mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and myself surprised Katie with a BOB stroller! Katie is a dedicated runner and it was her most wanted baby item so as you can see she was more than delighted with the surprise!

BabyMac loves the BOB too! He had a very big afternoon so it was time for some comfy clothes. I wish I had a picture of him in his cute little outfit but as you can tell by earlier remarks I wasn't focused on taking pictures at this party. We had a full house, lots of drinks to serve and company to enjoy. It was a GREAT afternoon & I loved every bit of it!

Yet another amazing party. Best tips I picked up are being flexible with color schemes and planning way ahead to make time for all the details. Nicely done.

The sip ‘n see was adorable! everything is absolutely perfect!

and i totally agree with your tip. i always tell people to shop around before deciding on a theme or color scheme. some things are impossible to find at certain times of the year.

Cute party! Your SIL will love her BOB! I have the double BOB and I’ve already shed 15 pounds of baby weight jogging my girls around the neighborhood!
